MoDOT Money Going to Other Road Projects

Left over stimulus money to be spent on several Mid-Missouri roads.

More Missouri roads are now going to see improvements thanks to left-over stimulus money.

Wednesday, MoDOT said bids for other central Missouri stimulus projects came in about $5 million under budget.


They've now added 13 more resurfacing projects in Mid-Missouri.


It includes five in Boone County, 3 in Pettis County, 2 in Cole, Callaway and Miller Mounties, and 1 in Cooper County.


MoDOT says these projects should cost a total $8.5 million dollars.


Here is a complete list of the road projects:  


  • Interstate 70 Outer Road in Boone County, from Route E to the end of state maintenance in Columbia.
  • Route KK in Boone County, from Route K to the end of state maintenance in Columbia..
  • Route WW in Boone and Callaway Counties, from North Fork Creek inBoone County to Route J in Callaway County.
  • Route ZZ in Boone County, from Route TT to I-70 Drive SW in Columbia.Westbound U.S. Route 54 in Callaway County, from Holts Summit to theMissouri River Bridge.
  • U.S. Route 54 in Cole County, from the Missouri River Bridge to just west of Stadium Blvd. in Jefferson City, including the ramps at the tri-level interchange.
  • Westbound U.S. Route 50 in Cole County, from just west of Truman Blvd. to Business Route 50 in Apache Flats.
  • Route 87 in Cooper County, from I-70 to Main Street in Boonville.
  • Route 87 in Miller County, from Salem Road to Route 54 in Eldon.
  • Route CC in Miller County, from Salem Road to Route 52 in Eldon.
  • Route 765 in Pettis County, from railroad tracks to U.S. Route 65 in Sedalia.
  • Route P in Pettis County, at various locations within the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia.
  • Route Y in Pettis County,Adobe InCopy CS4 oem from west of U.S. Route 65 to Quisenberry Road in Sedalia.
