Attorneys for Alyssa Bustamante will be allowed to review the teenager's juvenile court records as the murder case moves forward, a judge ruled Monday.

Alyssa is accused of killing 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten in St. Martins in October. She has been charged with first-degree murder.

In a ruling Monday, Cole County Circuit Judge Patricia Joyce ruled defense attorneys should have access to the girl's juvenile court records. Joyce also ruled that "any current or past employees of Cole County Juvenile division be allowed to speak" to attorneys for Alyssa.

A counsel status hearing in the case is scheduled for April 28.
