"What we're finding out is it's occurred before but it's not a very consistent, it doesn't happen every weekend or month, it's happened during the year," Craighead tells us.
Right now, authorities are focusing on only the investigation.
"Victims aren't telling us what's going on, they aren't giving us any information on who the shooters might be, if they know them, or any type of information that would lead to an arrest," Craighead says.
The Callaway County sheriff tells us his office is contacting several groups to help with the investigation including the NAACP. The department has also contacted Lincoln University police. Students from that school were at the complex when a shooting took place last October.
