Carl Edwards said he will not appeal the penalty he received from NASCAR this past week, and offered an apology for causing the crash with Brad Keselowski. Edwards said he was sorry to the other guys who were caught up in the wreck, but was happy NASCAR pentalized Keselowski as well.
In return, Keselowski told reporters, he and Edwards have not talked, and they probably won't talk unless it would be a "productive conversation."
NASCAR docked Edwards 60 driver points, fined him $25,000 and put him on probation for the remainder of the season.
Keselowski was also placed on probation for the rest of the year.
