Jefferson City Teacher Gets Additional Charges

Brent Roark is accused with having sex with a student

A Jefferson City teacher accused of having sex with a student was supposed to have his day in court Wednesday, but charges were dropped and refiled with additional charges.

Brent Roark, originally charged with 2nd degree statutory rape and 2nd degree statutory sodomy, is now charged with an additional count of 2nd degree statutory rape.

Roark will be in court again on September 4, 2007.
