Missourians can find free help for health and human services with one phone call.
211 service provide confidential help for food and shelter assistance, job counseling and other every day needs.
The service is currently available on landlines in 90% of the state.
Missouri will have full coverage by the spring of 2008.
Callers can dial 211, present their needs and a specialist will direct them to the appropriate place.
The call center is located in St. Louis and is a 24/7 service.
The program is funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health and United Way organizations across the state.
