Severe T-Storm Watch

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of mid-Missouri until 9PM this evening. Severe thunderstorms capable of damaging winds, small hail and heavy downpours are possible this afternoon and tonight.

A slight risk of severe thunderstorms exists across the northwest corner of Missouri, however, widespread severe weather is not expected here in central Missouri. Strong storms with gusty winds and heavy rain are expected to develop through late evening. A few of these storms may trigger a t-storm warning or two, but again, widespread severe storms are not forecast for mid-Missouri.
